Upgraded the brakes on the dear old Tom Board — those originally fitted were Shimano 600 with a hellishly strong spring (like the Campag Record of which they were a copy). The BR-7800 has a much lighter touch.

Obvs., but they sell many different rims. I imagine they'd be up for supplying XR31s in place of whatever cheap rim they've bunged on that build, but it won't be £550 any more 🙂
