  • But it’s the brightness/beam that matters if you want to see, and that can’t be fixed with a bit of Teflon tape?

    Also my pal at work has had an IQ-X on his beater for about 2 years and that’s ridden all year round, left parked in rain etc and no water in it?

  • Also it seems people only have problems with water with Luxos and maybe IQ-X, not Cyo? I have two Cyos, the older one is five years old and has spent the nights out too for a winter and both have been through plenty of long rides and commuting and there's been no problems. The construction isn't sealed but has been reliable. I think it's bright enough for mountains and gravel too, but I read somewhere that the Edelux uses different led.

  • I have to disagree about the cyo being appropriate for those things, it’s passable, just like you could run a marathon in sandals, you can manage with it, time has moved on... If you had tried an IQ-X you would agree. It’s a different world to the Cyo, Edelux or Supernova E3. The Cyo beam is super narrow, IQ-X lights up the world.
