Have you managed to ride it all this time without squeezing the left brake lever (or right - I don't know if you changed your leaver set-up to the correct way as part of your request for indefinite leave to remain post brexit).
Squeezing it accidentally could pop the pistons out and leave an impressive trail of pad, piston and mineral fluid. No doubt you already know this.
I will certainly be bringing this on Wednesday evening. But for the benefit of others the bike uses Paragon Machine Works Rockers dropouts which allow to tension the chain whilst keeping the rear wheel axis fixed relatively to the rear brake caliper (also the dropouts can be changed for ones with thru-axle, derailleur hanger etc)
So yeah, there's a rear brake caliper on here even though there's no rear rotor, because after installing it and bleeding it and everything we couldn't find the rotor (the workshop ate it). I'll probably remove the caliper at some point but as it's full of oil I'm a bit reluctant to faff with it.
