I bought the terraliner oval from this seller 🙂
The small one he’s selling is a decent price imo!

Terraliners are 700c I think, I like the mtb geo and 26" wheels of the terrarunner.
It's lovely though. -

What are the goto V brakes? Cantis are such a faff (for me) and I'm led to believe V brakes are better for heavier loads (me).
Want to run 2.15/2.3" tyres and fenders if that makes any difference!

Does your bike has clearance for 2.15-2.3"?

I use some of the later xt v-brakes on my touring bike. Total weight (rider and luggage) approx 100-110 kg and never had issues, not even when descending Alpine cols.

Excellent work. Love it.
syncros cattlprod is a great upgrade too -
• #1772
Thanks, @Rik_Van_Looy , I like the look of the Syncros on it too. The Flip-Flop stem didn't work for me. Those early Syncros stems (together with A-Tac's) are amongst my alltime favourite stems (and that's why I have one on the way to my place for my -about to finish- Alpinestars Cro Mega :-)).
-

I was never a fan of those stems either but would add control tech into the quill-stem hall of fame.
Cro-mega LX or DX - is it an e-stay? Such great bikes (if the dropouts survive!). 1.25" syncros is a good find.my younger brother had one on his dx -

It's a Cro Mega DX I'm building. Yes, with the e-stays. Did these have issues too? I know the ally ones weren't that bullet proof but didn't know about issues with the steel ones. Let's hope the dropouts can take some offroad hammering as I want to ride the bike.
