I saw Glen Whittington’s pictures and could see the rain and ensuing carnage it caused. I can only imagine how much fun some of those off cambers were once slick.

anyone tried the new green michelins then? i spoke to a bloke on the weekend who said 'the jury's still out' on his, but he had the tubeless whereas i'm looking at the tubs.

Anyone know a good spot near Esher/Richmond park to wash a bike after a muddy ride? I've just moved to a new flat with no outdoor space and haven't picked up a portable pressure washer yet.

Looks savage on that EUCX course, not sure I've seen fast riders made to look so slow..

You should’ve asked on here what to use first, too.

Tape and glue, for the full Belg, obvs.

Effetto Mariposa Carogna tape these days.

Will be going to ulceration, yep, though these tubs won't be on by then. Will be bambi-ing my way around on clinchers, as is my style. See you there?

The 'belgian method' is too euro for me. Gonna go with 4 coats on the rim, 2 on the tub and pray. I don't corner fast enough to roll a joint, let alone a tub.

I think I paid £42 each for these, FYI.

Which is incredibly cheap for tubs. I appreciate they are not hand sewn by artisans but still, very good pricing.

Apart from FMB and Dugast aren't most of the tubs made in the same factory in the far east

cool, apart from being green they look very similar to the Terreno wets I've been using

Have they got latex on the base tape like the Vittoria tubs?
