For sure. Most sellers inflate their condition statements, but anything missing lume with gashes from a slipped jaxa is ‘good’ at best. I always err on the side of caution to avoid reprisal.
Even so, this my Omega monocoque (on its way to servicing yesterday) I feel is in good aged condition, with fair condition hands. Yet, the watchmaker shot me down hard as I handed it to him, stating the dial looked very aged and then laughing at the caseback scratches that looked like someone didn’t know it was a front-loader.
Indeed compared to his minty moonwatch he had on the bench and practically chucked in my direction, this is a beater.

I guess it's all relative. Was just basing it on my previous 60 y-o watches that all have been in quite a sorry, patinated state compared to this. But sure, it's not immaculate/mint. Selling it elsewhere so nevermind..
