I'm currently running 56/16 on my folder (406) and it's manageable up most of the tougher hills around my way. It's surprising how much the smaller wheel changes things

I took the tyres to the bike shop and the frame is there, apparently wheel build today. I forgot to take a photo but the finish looks very nice. The glitter is extremely subtle, but that's probably a good thing.

Anyway, I'm trying to do some stem geo maths, but its kind of difficult because I don't really have anything to compare it with. Stock the L Neutrino has stack 504mm and reach 406mm. The HT angle is 73mm, so for each mm of spacer I add, that'll decrease the reach by 1.327mm.
406 is already pretty short for reach (as I understand it???) So I'm thinking of only having a humble 20mm of spacer which should give a stack of 524mm and a reach of 380. Then I'll put a 110mm stem on (because that's what I've got) and maybe get riser bars. Do those numbers sound vaguely plausible for a 5'10 man who normally rides a 54 top tube?

I think you've calculated this wrong, should lose about 0.3mm of reach per 1mm spacer and gain 0.95mm of stack. Unless I'm being stupid.

You're right. I guess it's back to school for me to learn how to sohcahtoa once again.

Crazy that the roadrunner neutrino is on tubeless? I actually would have really loved to do this myself but I didn't think there was any tubeless 20" tyres??
Oh well, if I can tubeless all my other bikes then I'll still only need to stock one tube size..

@Belagerent Just saw this on the BA insta, and then realised I met you briefly on their gravel ride where it rained loads and almost everyone got a puncture. Good times.

Awesome bike!
I got this mini velo a year ago and been commuting on it every day since. Absolutely love it! After riding with gears and then going 1x, I will convert it to single speed in the very near future. Probably 39x11 or something like that...

I have changed my gearing request to 44x14 or 44x15. I am very strong and can ride up anything, but I am very lazy.
I'll fit gears sooner rather than later, shimano zee seems pretty cheap/easy.
