What does it do over BeyondPod?
I've used BeyondPod for years and it just sits on my phone downloading new episodes but I've never really felt like I've got to grips with it and listening to more than a single podcast seems to take loads of faffing.

It actually works. The BeyondPod devs have just given up, look when the last update was (on android at least).
podcast addict can chromecast - BeyondPod has never had this feature working
PA does proper list handling - BP this is now broken
PA is regularly updated on user feedback - BP has no one
PA is actually stable - BP crashes out constantly for me

Who ever asked about podcast apps before, my new go to is Podcast Addict. Beyondpod has gone to shit, Google podcast is very basic. Podcast addict is what beyondpod could have been super powerful and customisable
