I pulled my amp out of storage for the first time in about 3 years yesterday. It's an old Vox Valvetronix and I'm getting sporadic output regardless of what guitar I use and what setting it's on. Does this sound like an easy fix, or is there a recommended shop to perform an service on it?

3 years later and it's definitely finally dead. So now I'm in the market for a replacement combo amp to replace the Vox AD15VT.

Anyone got a Boss Katana 2 yet?

I'm really interested in the Katana MkII/ Katana Air/ Katana Artist. I'm quickly realising valves are unusably loud for most non-live/ band scenarios of which I never partake anymore.

Can anyone recommend(/want to get rid of for mega-cheaps) a practise amp suitable for sofa use with my Epiphone Les Paul? Really just needs to be the basics.

My very first Marshall amp, I have resisted for decades... My OG Guv'nor was my one concession, I actually always wanted a 50 watt Hi Watt like my mate, Hugo's... No cab yet and I'm out with Spaniards on tour in Oz all weekend, might get to hear it next week!
