Anyone got any experience with the Vittoria Terreno Zero? Looking for a harder wearing alternative to G-Ones.

Also looking for a review of the above or Hutchinson Overides?

I'm building up a 90s Saracen with a Crust Clydesdale fork (so 20" and 26" wheels). I would like to be able to ride it on tarmac without mega rolling resistance, but also be able to take it down some of the shitty local paths that are too muddy for slicks.
I've always had a soft spot for Maxxis Holy Rollers, but they don't come in gumwall. Any known similar tyres? -

People commuting on slick 650B tyres - what are you using?
Trying to work out if I use my 700C ultra race wheels and whatever tyres I have or swap my 650B tyres for commutes. Are 650B tyres generally more expensive than 700C?

Not strictly just road commuting but mixed surface touring as well, and I've found no issues with the Maxxis Re-fuse yet.

Im just about to chuck a pair of 42mm gravelkings away after 4000km of London commuting, rides and daily gravel. They did the job, but gone for Paselas this time after Evans are selling pairs for 30-odd quid.
The gravel kings did start getting a decent size hole in them...

How much are they? Any idea of the mileage they're getting?

What I should do is leave the knobbies on the 650Bs but take them off and fit my 700C race wheels to that bike and use 700Cs for commuting. I have tonnes of 700C tyres that I could wear out and GKs and G-Ones I could test.

Where did you find the tubeless ready version?
-
• #6663
They were tyre of the moment a couple of months back, just to add to that. The conti sport contacts from Planet X (42s in this case and come up true to size) I’ve put in about 2000 miles on them (2 pairs) including commuting and a big tour. Have had 1 puncture caused by a sharp bit of metal. They are excellent, went from voyager hypers and no noticeable difference in speed, definitely tougher, confidence inspiring grip run between 60-70psi.

I got a pair for the dadbike. Will find time to put them on eventually, probably next spring. Cracking value at £7.99 a tyre.

Don’t think twin rail come in 20” ? but could get this for the front mebbe

Both excellent suggestions, much appreciated. Shame the Twin Rail doesn't come as gumwall in 20"

How much are they? Any idea of the mileage they're getting?
They hover around £30 - I've probably only done 2000 miles on them since new, but they were faultless for a 350 mile mixed surface tour through Belgium/Netherlands/Germany, and I commute E&C to Marylebone on them with no punctures yet.
Where did you find the tubeless ready version?

Trying to decide on tyres for a new wheelbuild. Year round riding, although like more 3 seasons as I've a summer best option (on a different bike). Likely road only.
Rims are 23mm internal/30mm external, deep section. Will run them tubeless. Don't want much wider than 32.
Options I can see:
- Corsa control 30 tubeless
- GP5000 TLR 32
- WTB Expanse or whatever 32's are called.
- Challenge SB 34's
Anything I'm missing? I'll prob just go for whatever I can find on offer unless any stand out from those.
- Corsa control 30 tubeless

GP 4 Seasons? Available in 23-32mm. They come up a bit wider once fitted.

SBC Jamie rates them, called them shit tyres.
Lost chance: brands like Goodyear and Pirelli have bicycle tyres again after decades, but have not the balls to print / attach their logos on the tyres. I bet a Goodyear with the yellow logo with the foot would be sold much more. Like big fat Maxxis letters!
