Does anyone know if the “fairweather for traveler” by panaracer is tubeless?

Two parts to this post.
I've just changed to the winter bike and fitted some Vittoria Terreno Zero to kinlin XR22t rims which proved to be the easiest tubeless i have ever done.
Secondly i was using Schwalbe Pro One Evo on the best summer bike which i was very happy with but they have "squared off" badly on around a 1000 miles so i'm looking for recommendations on 25mm fast rolling tyres for the "best bike"? -

When I used them they weren’t. I did set them up tubeless anyway for a while and it was mostly fine (basically until each tyre had a puncture and then I just kept them tubed)

IRC X guard or the more racey IRC tyres, the name of which temporarily escapes me.

RBCC is the name
The roadlite is pretty swift but I find it wears out quicker than the formula pro tyres. -

Soapy water is not a faff. Just pour a dilute solution all over the ri. And for tyre and inate. It could not be easier. If the fit is marginal then compressed air with soapy water normally gets it seated. No soapy water means you can get grief. soapy water is the answer, fitted many tyres now and seen every problem and soapy water works. a compressor pump is helpful too.

Mopping up soapy water from the living room floor definitely is a faff though...

My Terreno Mixes were quite hard to mount too. As in, it was a physically exhausting job. And I needed gloves...

Yeah. I bought one of them silly tyre bead jack levers by crank brothers. Trying that tmrw. If it fails. I fail.

Had definite heavy spots when running road tubeless last year, felt the judder in every revolution. It’s put me off going back to it.
What did I do wrong?

Tyre not seated properly.

Seemed fine Tbh, felt more like dried sealant. Too much maybe?
-
• #3222
Not unless you had a full bottle dry up in one spot on the tyre, and even then... The weight imbalance from the valve stem is going to be more noticeable than the weight of some dried sealant.

Is it better to buy an air shot pump or a compressor
-
• #3224
Depends what size compressor. But if it's a decent size it'll be better and more versatile than an air shot pump.

Could it be that a tyre just won’t work tubeless anymore? Having two two years old GKs on DT RR 511 rims, one simple - holds air without sealant (at least a minute); the other one no chance. Working with a track pump.
You could try painting the inside of the tyre with liquid latex, and use a latex based sealant...
