What time is it? Watches and horology

Still one of my favourite modern Rolex models.

Surprised no-one has shouted this out yet. I’m going to shout it out. Looks cool. Eagle is a bit Reich-y, mind.

It’s a bit too tall for me , I didn’t wear mine at all. Still a very popular piece tho. And now a lot cheaper than an Omega seamaster 300 diver.

Yep, i think the height can deffo put people off - i've never noticed it, but i've got an ETA version so maybe it sits a bit lower. Also i've got hairy forearms so that visually softens any slab :)

Also, last page was super strong - high fives all round.

Really nice. The Mk2's are growing on me the more I see them.

They're nice straps but I've since seen as nice for a fair bit less.

No, I took the clasp off another Tudor strap and abandoned the deployant. Just not as comfortable for me.

You've just reminded me that I've got the NATO that came with it unworn somewhere.

Too shiny. You need to get some wet and dry paper on that.

Thanks guys, Panerai was somewhat my first expensive watch love when i stumbled upon a bronzo (pam382). Always wanted one but coudnt justify the cheap movement no complication expensive price thing. well now i said f$%k it and went for it..
