In the market for a new commuter jacket. The Vulpine Harringtons always used to be good, anyone got experience of the current ones? Or should I avoid now they're owned by whoever it is?

I have an old ladies model with the reflective strips in the arms, it's pretty good. It'll allow water in at some point but keeps me warm and better than boil in the bag.

But the newer ladies model w/o the strips (3 years ago?) and tail flap has thinner fabric and isn't as water resistant.

So I'd factor in what model you used to have, and check what fabric they use on their new ones.

Sounds like it's worth seeing one in the flesh, looks like Velorution has stopped stocking them tho, they used to have the full range in the store.
