My better half has agreed to "us" buying me an amp for my birthday and Christmas. It's us because we're currently single income family with young kids so it's hard to justify treating yourself to frivolous things like guitar amps when it's only my salary keeping us in rent, nappies and My Little Pony Magazines.
Anyway, she's was sold by my argument that after four years of hard budgeting and every Christmas and birthday being about buying each other practical stuff like boots or coats, it's time be loosen the purse strings a bit and treated ourselves to some frivolous shit that makes us happy.
Now let the shopping begin in anger. *rubs thighs
