  • I mean if you're serious PM me. My dad is visiting in a couple of weeks so could take it back. Huge box though so perhaps not.... I'd happily store it though.

  • (cough) Rolex (cough)

  • Since the Casios seem to be getting a look-in today

  • True that. Not in the budget I want to spend on watch. Saving for that Hypermotard first :D

  • mid desk dive earlier (living in the past).

  • I'm going in 7 days

  • @JB @Señor_Bear Was working late and it's gone now, seriously appreciate the offers though!

  • Today’s best 😎

  • All this speedmaster talk has me spinning out. I've been given permission from the missus to get one but now trying to figure out what a good deal on one is, is driving me loopy. Not sure where I'd be best buying one (home: Canada where everything seems more expensive // UK: buy one used and get it back to Canada without having to pay tax // Singapore/Kuala Lumpur where I am at the minute). Prices seem to be high everywhere right now and I'm not sure if that's driven by the moon landing anniversary?

  • ^Prompted me to look, there’s a big spread but the Tintin is averaging around £7,000 on Chrono24 - it’s been climbing steadily for a little while but I wonder if it will tail off once the moon landing anniversary hoopla fades away?

  • a recent bargain basement addition - an 80s Luch moon phase, £40 via ebay

  • Moonphase or day/night indicator?

  • Ah, proper moonphase. Its a quartz.

  • It’s definitely driven by the moon landing anniversary. When Omega put prices up (and they have several times recently - feels like less than two years ago they were three grand, not four) second hand prices rise too.

Really depends on exactly what you want. Buying a new standard hesalite moonwatch in a tax-free way (airports / HK / etc) might be the best value. Personally I also think the First Omega In Space model is quite nice.

If you want a particular vintage look/execution eg tritium dial, you probably want to be watching Omega Forums rather than Chrono24, be patient and go for the cleanest one you can find. @inchpincher did his research and scored a beaut.

  • May flip. May keep.

  • That looks great

  • Thinking of selling my Junghans chronoscope as it doesn't get worn. Where's best? I'm assuming not ebay...

  • Anyone interested in buying a 1967 Rolex Oyster Perpetual 1002?
