I need some QR skewers. Anything sleek, reasonably lightweight, that fits this build?

Those PX ones are shit.

Well put tried once going straight in the bin.

DT Swiss RWS would be a good pick for lightweight with actual clamping force. Even most steel bolt-up skewers are pretty light.

Shiny Dura Ace it should be then :)

Never the wrong choice

The “correct” DA Skewers are extremely good at both being skewers and looking nice whilst they do it.

A right faff to get a hold of. Might just buy the Lifeline Ti Carbon ones. They come rated well on Wiggle.

Seconded.

Does 31.6mm in seatpost dia translates into 34.9mm dia for the front derailleur adapter?
-
• #40
Yep.
For mount options, carbon can crack but alloy is heavy. -
• #41
Yep.
Cheers!
I do wonder if this bike can take 26mm tyres. Hmm...
Edit*
23mm GP4000II in front and 25mm in the back via WW forum. Not sure what they equate to on a 19mm inner rim.
Edit 2* But 25mm clears with an abundance on mine. Might be the post-trekness in effect.

They're utter pap I'm afraid. IME constant need for removal/readjust to get rid of creak. At least IME. Lovely bike btw, congrats

Personal question, how much do you weigh? How much do none Shimano qrs save weight wise?
Oh, nice frame by the way. -
• #47
20gr maybe. I weigh a proper 120kg which I'm trying to shed at least 40kg of.

But I am looking at the DT Swiss Dicut 1400 32 Oxic as the wheelset, ditching the idea of carbon.
The DT RWS QR are included and afaik they have a pretty powerful clamping.

Not tried the Ti RWS (that come with the Oxic wheelset) but the standard steel ones have been great for me with three disc equipped bikes (MTB and gravel) and one road, and with semi-horizontal dropouts to boot.
Lifeline Ti are junk.
Current Zipp Ti skewers seem rather good having had some a while now - not super light @ about 65g, also not at all flashy. But have a good lever action and clamp strongly.
Not sure why the newest black Dura Ace are suggested and not the ones that go with the group:

I have lifeline ti skewers and never got a problem. However, I weight 68 kg and the bike about 7
They’re older than they look. That pic is about 2008 I think.
