Apologies for more Lynskey posting, but I need to consult the collective LFGSS aesthetic opinion. I'm indulging my cheap weight weenie side and getting a carbon saddle/seatpost from China, but can't decide on matte or gloss carbon.

Fit the finish on the fork. Bikes are about simplicity and minimalism, mostly.

Keep your money and invest it in proper hydraulic discs and a saddle bag.

These hy/rd's actually perform pretty good now they've been set up, and sram hydraulic levers look terrible/are expensive. At some point in the future i might get them. Also i much prefer a strap under the saddle, saddle bags always rattle about.

I'm definitely the odd one out in that I like the look of the twisted downtube, but in no way do I feel any affect on how the bike performs. I gimmick for sure.
@ShutUpNoRest matte it is then, thanks!

can lead a horse to water etc etc
buy a proper carbon seatpost. aliexpress ones not worth the admittedly slight expense.

And a cheap carbon saddle is just silly. An excellent way to make you not want to ride your bike.

It really brings out the short sighted weight weenie, though admittedly the saddle is destined to fail. I'm also quite tempted to try the pressure relieving channel or whatever they're called, and this seems to be a fairly cheap way of doing so.
to be read together with the fender/mudguard-thread
