Would there be any way to create a read only version without the spam protection? I mostly just lurk these days so that would allow me (and others?) mostly normal use, whilst maintaining spam protection.

I've updated it so that it only blocks on POST and PUT whilst on VPNs from Digital Ocean... so it still stops the spammer.

(Which is not conclusive as I wasn't blocked right now anyway. Will keep an eye on it though)

User doesn't know how to get a URL that points to an image file.

Or you're browsing via some proxy which is blocking the website where the image was hosted.

Well I am browsing via Chrome or Safari on my Mac.
It's only images posted by Salad.
