No worries - the thickness of the 1521 is only slightly less than the SKX007, they’re both in the region of 13mm. I just think it wears a bit nicer because of the lug shape and the way the case thins at the side - it’s got a bit of a bubble back.

That does look good. The satin/bead blasted finish is exactly what I'm after. Expert modelling btw...

That’s one of the first times I think the Milanese strap looks great, guess it’s because of the lug shape.

Didn’t get chance to take many pictures as I promised client he could “unbox” as it arrived. In the flesh it was lovely the bracelet particularly and I know the other bits are a matter of taste but they are all executed with real finesse. I loved it.

However having said that , it’s not a moonwatch so whilst it was a lovely thing I wouldn’t wear it .
This is what I have on today and it’s probably my favourite omega I have ever bought.

Thankyou.
It's actually my daughters , I bought it for her as a birthday present but she just gone off to university so I am "caretaking" it. That one is from 1996/97 so last of tritium dial very first of the 1861 movement.

Thanks a lot. Yea the Milanese is a tough one, I had tried it on a couple of watches and didn’t suit well. The lugs on the old 30T are pinched a bit narrower than 18mm so I couldn’t try it. Seems to work well on this one with its linen (ish) dial.

Two great looking Speedmasters. My preference is obviously the real moonwatch.
I had a look at Omegas website today and there are a lot of nice versions of the Speedmaster. When I win the lottery, I will be busy buying!
Until then, drooling will continue. -

Any aspiring Jim Bonds will need to acquire one of these.

All of those Bond watches we had on order have now been allocated!!
That one really seems to have caught peoples attention, I think probably because the watch it's based on is soooo lovely.
Oh and rumours appear to be rife about a price increase on Omega from October 1st ..........
I couldn't possibly comment, but if anybody wants anything before give me a shout.
Forgot to say thanks for the info regarding the size of the squale. I always loved my skx but got annoyed with it's height.
Also, thanks @Jingle_Jangle for the pic... Must stop replying to threads just as I'm about to sleep. Always forget things!
