Spotted in Antwerp - any ideas what make/model this is? I thought it was pretty perfect.

It's a modified older Cangoo. Can be had for cheaps 2nd hand over here. The red cargo "box" is actually from an old belgian post bike.

Nice. I can see the appeal of the truck strapped style boxes, means if you don't have kiddo cargo and that mint free sofa you've spotted in a back lane doesn't fit inside the box you can flatten it with no tools and then use the strap to hold it down.
Saw a video yesterday with 4 kiddos in a regular bullitt canopy (no roof on), cramped but they didn't seem to mind, just hanging out!

Any suggestions for a rain cover for Omnium cargo?

To cover the bike that is. Just moved house and I don’t have a bike shed anymore.

Large waterproof motorbike cover should do it

Why is the box left open in the back? I understand the floor extends farther towards the pedals than most would, but that open back seems pretty hard to make use of.

Also what are the cutouts on the floor towards the front for?

Really nice. The curves make quite a difference to the overall look. I might have to re-think my box now, I wasn’t happy with it when I mocked it up.

Not sure if its meant to be that high.

I've just gone off these plans.

Originally was only going for sides but the friend just did the whole lot.

Once i've built the bike i'll have to see what goes where.

I think the cut outs are for the bolt on seat etc.

(Bike and parts are still boxed in garage)
