I'd go see them again for sure. The vinyl version of the EP is due but not til November which is infuriating. They threw a little Daniel Johnston into a song last week and they covered a Robert Wyatt track at EOTR. That's a surefire way to please me.I'm a bit of a black midi fan boy if I'm honest. Four shows this year so far.
I was at the Mercury awards last night and they blew the roof off... people didn't know how to take them. Matt's fucking goofy somersault was sick. First TV appearance and they made an absolute mockery of it.I've seen Mystery Jets a few times. They're always a good live prospect.

It's been a really fucking great year for music in this country... probably because everything else about it is fucked.
