excellent straps.check also kostas straps, manifatture serioso, corrigia for thicker straps, kyros and bosphorous straps look good as well. Gunny has good straps as well.

Naff. DJs and OPs don't suit 41mm IMO.

“Hi, just making sure you noticed my ROLEX”
-

Speaking of ROLEX, take a look at my old colleagues cuff links. Cringe!
Cropped to not embarrass him.

Unless he worked in a Rolex shop and was made to wear them, there is no excuse.

I had some PP cufflinks for a bit I quite liked. I think someone else did too... Sad they're gone

I tried the white one on. Quite liked it. It was a bit bling though so said no. Sad I did.

Ha, I deleted that exact comment because the forum software wouldn’t let me shout in capitals and it just came across as a dig.
Anyway, here’s a picture of a G Shock wall clock, more interesting Omega (Soccer timer, Flightmaster) and the non-GMT Montblonc heritage. Felt a bit cheap tbh.

Yeah not a fan of the larger sizes and the bezel on these later editions always looks too squashed to me, like they've been flattened.

Bit gutted about that Ultraman everyone's been bashing on about on Antiques Roadshow as I actually attended that one and didn't get a glimpse! There was an enameled pocket watch there though, thought to be worth around £20,000. Could be on the next episode.

Haven't ever seen any Rolex cufflinks but wouldn't be so sure as they used to have a purfume line.

I have a pair of stainless steel Tudor logo cufflinks that I was given by the AD. They've never left their box, and probably never will.

Seriously tempted by this:

Seems a bargain for a full set mk1 BB. What am I missing?

The money to buy it?
-
• #38019
Ha! If someone can persuade me that it will appreciate in value because it has the ETA movement and the smiley text dial then I can delude myself it is an investment.
-
• #38020
Well that's more than I paid for mine new ...
EDIT: Actually that isn't mine, mine's this one with the smiley dial and red pip which seems to be on sale for outrageous amounts.
-
• #38021
I don't think collectors view that model as scarce, unlike the one with the smiley dial and red pip.

Seiko really do hammer them out don't they?

Unfortunately the version that collectors get excited about is the black bezelled version as it was only produced for a few months. The link's to the blue bezel version - which was produced in bigger numbers / around for a lot longer so hasn't provoked the same reaction. All the eta models are flatter and less slabby than the inhouse versions, and obvs have a happier, rarer dial, but i don't think those qualities alone will make them investments.
I've got the blue bezel version (on a strap) and I really like it, but alas i don't think it'll appreciate. It's a great watch for the money though.

Blimey you got a bargain!

I got some natty orange barrelled Bremont cufflinks from an AD years ago - i think they're rather fetching so they still get used now and then
just get a datejust and chisel off the cyclops :)
