Managed to convince him just to drink a few pints and catch up instead. Crisis averted.

Having never seen an IT film or read the books I can say (hand on heart) you have dodged a bullet

Did it again... Got the free 7 day trial with Now TV, smashed everything i wanted to watch in a week then forgot to cancel. So seeing i just paid £11.99 for the month does anyone have any good Now TV suggestions?
FWIW, for notable recent stuff i squeezed in Mandy, Black Klansman, Bad times at El Royale and Shoplifters. I now have Sorry to bother you, First man, First reformed, Videomannen and Searching to get through (and The Meg...). Sorry to bother you looks like it might bother me, any others to stop me watching Alien, Predator and The Dark Knight on repeat?

Sorry to bother you looks like it might bother me
It's weird as fuck, so great if you like that kind of thing

Plus one for sorry to bother you.
This should interest people on here

Sorry to bother you is possibly the best film I've watched this year, other contender would be spiderman into the spiderverse.

Watched Sorry to bother you last night, great cast, fun to look at but as feared from watching the trailer beforehand didn't love it. Just felt like it was telling a story I've seen before but with a layer of kookiness to distract me. For any Lakeith Stanfield fans look out for his debut in Short term 12, phenomenal film and performance.
Spiderverse is amazeballs, watched it on the big screen so I'm kinda nervous it won't have the same (literally mouth hanging open) jaw dropping impact on my TV.

Hell Comes to Frogtown (1988)
Absolute genius. Costumes, camera work, everything. It’s B Movie bliss and deserves way more praise. I’m shocked at how great it is. Also, serious anti-Arab undertones with the costume choices.
RIP Roddy!

I remember as a ~8 year old I was obsessed with the Hell Comes To Frogtown VHS cover in Blockbuster videos.
Never managed to see it. -

It’s on Prime (probably cut) and probably loads of other platforms. I think Arrow released it too.
As a huge huge fan of They Live, I decided I should make my way through other Rowdy Roddy titles too.

John Wick 3 - more of the same as the previous instalments.
Fun drinking game - do a shot for every time there is testical trauma. Make sure you have a full bottle. -

Yardie is on Prime at the mo.
Worth a watch. If you were into that scene in the 80s then I can imagine you'd absolutely love it.

This will probably be one of the few films worth seeing this year:

I watched this yesterday based on your recommendation. Absolutely bonkers, well worth a watch! Thanks.

I also watched The Lobster yesterday. I enjoyed it a lot more than the first time I saw it, not long after it came out. Probably because I wasn't sat next to my mum who started complaining about it roughly 10 seconds in.

Ahaha amazing.
Must watch The Lobster again. Took a date to see it. Was the wrong choice.

Rewatched Videodrome for the first time in years last night. I enjoyed it, my girlfriend HATED it. I guess she's just not in to gaping torso vaginas.
This is better than anything in any of the sequels.
