Hey, sorry to dig this up, where have you seen this?
I've got a bike going back to wiggle under warranty because apparently it can't cope with an emergency stop. I'm still not quite sure if to push for refund/replacement, it's only three months old π£

What's going on in there, is that a normal approach to carbon tubes.. just seems like it's going to fail again but probably outside of warranty next time! Would be refunding..

That looks like someone got a bit enthusiastic with the torch and probably overheated the tube. Definitely a warranty case.
