They're not the worst company in the world, the owners just seem like nobheads. They had a pretty transphobic advertising campaign that was also pretty offensive to sex workers and homeless people a while back and they've tried to sue smaller breweries multiple times for use of words like "punk". Just rubs me the wrong way. Having said that, I've been to both a Wetherspoons (mad racist) and a Sam Smith's pub (actively pro foxhunting) in the last week so am a huge, huge hypocrite.
