So I can’t find any press release or even tweet to support it but I was told that ... due to the new pressing situation (election incoming) that there will be some centralisation of the selection going on in Labour.
Combined with the recent 33% rule I think JC will be picking the party.
Tbf Blair did similar in order to win an election.
