Finally kind of finished the Bob.
This project is in spite of and in honor of the forum's favourite mdcc, who typically warned me that most of what I wanted to do wouldn't work and implied that I was kind of dumb to pursue this course in the first place.
Obviously he was (mostly) right except that the bike turned out great, if not exactly how I imagined it might.
So, thanks tester!

Nice. I like the downtube decals.
Are you in North America?
(left hand front brake and I don't recognise the bins - I've been playing Geoguesser)
Windsor, Ontario? - Edit, Its not, its somewhere in Winnipeg. I thought the 'Win' on the bin was Windsor.

What are the mounts on the blades of this fork? Could I mount a lowrider rack to them, as well as mudguards?

If it’s carbon, it won’t be for a low rider.
Highly doubt you’ll find any carbon fork that will say it’s suitable for rack mounting. -

Rodeo spork, for an extra £500 over the PX. The London Road fork is also 385 a c which I want to try on my Orlo. Should probably go steel if I want all the mounts, but custom steel is £££

They're for mudgaurds. They're up there to avoid the disc brake caliper.
-

At that price, they can afford to warranty replace a few

Replacement is one thing. Dentist bill another.
I'm pretty sure they know what they're doing.

Yeah I was being facetious. Carbon is stronger than steel but most often, forks are made to be light rather than strong (enough for racks).
A £600 is gonna be more fit for purpose than a £100 one. -

I got some custom steels forks made my Rychtarski for about £180. That was fancier tubing as well so can come in cheaper. Although that was with no mounts or anything.
-
• #124088
What tubing? How long did they take to make? I doubt a couple of mounts would add that much

Thanks, yep Winnipeg.

Columbus Max. I can't remember the turnaround to be honest! Apparently Orlowski are a good bet as well. I got a quote from them that was similar but they took longer to reply and I'd already ordered with Rychtarski.

Send a message to Odd cycles and check out my if they’ll sell their TGAC fork separately. It’s got all the mounts and looks pretty sick as well.

Yeah they bulk ordered a bunch of 1 inch threaded disc forks to turn njs frames into winter #shredders. I'm not rad enough for that. In two minds about getting a steel fork now as this would be for a frame with a 44mm HT, which will look shit no matter what. A friend is lending me an equilibrium so I'll have a play around with lowrider/basil memories on that and see how I get on

I just finished this Boardman bike, I thought I would mention it because it has forum roots - it was with @Pas142 then with @velohobbit, and now tweaked a bit with some bonus 9sp bits from @Bonj0ur and a few things lying around. Plus some new bar tape...

resulting in this. Don't mind the forks, it needs a respray (neon yellow).
