  • Ah, I'd best buy a few more bottles then!

  • It's always interesting to taste the gradual change

  • Sandanista

BBNo11 and something that tastes like yellow urinal blocks smell, at £7 a pint. Thankfully mine is the bbno pint.

  • ^Had a BBN 85 triple IPA today. Craft tramp juice.

  • I'd have been tempted. Had a few cans of neck oil & tiny rebel on the way to finishing up with this which was a good one to end on:

    Slightly sore head today.

  • hot and parched went into the holborn whippet yesterday and had a lovely pint of sharp yet sweet cider, stupidly didn't get the name, thought it might be a bit too sharp but the 2nd pint that followed soon after disproved that, had a taster of a still cider they had in a bladder in the fridge and my god that was rank, awful, those two pints were a godsend in the heat yesterday don't think anything could have gone down better
seated right near the entrance to the public bar the breeze whipped through keeping the heat at bay too, 5/7 pub experience

  • Co-op has offer, 2 pizzas & 4 bud for £5.

    Tastes amazing* at that price.

  • holborn whippet

The old office local. Odd place.

  • I've got a significant birthday coming up soon and fancy booking an area/room/mezzanine for 20-30 people in a brewery somewhere (preferably reasonably central). Any suggestions on places to look at?

  • Hammerton tap room in Holloway? 15 mins from kings cross

  • Cheers. The website does seem to suggest you can book but looks like it closes at 10 which is a bit early.

  • I'm pretty sure it s midnight these days... Might be worth calling as their licence has been up and down recently

  • Not particularly central but Howling Hops is great, 339 bus runs late, stops outside and takes 5 mins to Stratford, Hackney Wick overground is close too

  • Currently appreciating this. A gift from a drinking buddy who picked up an affinity for it in the Philippines. I can see why.

    The lager was unusual.
