Exchanged on Tuesday but completion isn't until mid October (seller's new build is delayed).
I tried to do the buildings insurance as you need to from exchange. Turns out your average insurance contract won't cover for that length of time before moving in so we had to go with a specialist. £120 for 6 weeks cover :(
Still, worth it if the seller decides to burn the place down before we move in.
