Proper leather shoes

Acquired these for a reasonable price - any advice for initial wearing in? I remember someone suggesting wearing new leather shoes around the house for an hour or two in the evenings.

I tend to wear shoes in at work - wear them whilst sitting down and walking around office but never for too long initially. Alternatively just wear them whilst watching the telly in the evening - longer the better really
