Went looking for the info.
I used this company. No faffing just a direct bulb swap and job done, still got the old krypton bulb in the end cap just in case. Just match the bulb to Cell size and number of cells of torch (mines 2x D cell)

Mostly used mine while lorry driving as a small mag lite was less frowned on over using a tyre iron to dissuade nocturnal visitors.
Discovered you can get LED bulbs for about £10 that jumped from krypton 28 lumens to 210l and a massive increase in battery run time. use it loads now as it's a practical torch :)
