Jokes aside though this is really fucked up.
BBC (and, since yesterday evening, German ARD) are the only major news that even bother to cover this.
Meanwhile Brazil's president actually blames NGO's for setting fires.

Keep seeing on social media people saying the news aren’t covering this but makes me wonder whether anyone has actually checked.
I can see BBC, Sky, CNN, Mirror, express, New York post, euronews, amongst others. Odd.

They are starting to cover now, yes, after the sky has gone dark mid-day over São Paulo (3000km away).

This is going on for about two weeks now (there's satellite imagery that clearly show fires starting all over the place at August 10).
