Seriously though, grass seeds are a nightmare. Lambeth left the grass in all the parks around Brixton to grow longer this year, and we’d come home from our walks covered in them.

In Blackheath and Greenwich they leave acres of the parkland to grow into meadows so similar story here.
I must admit, as a new dog owner, i thought that local dog owners are disproportionately freaked out about grass seeds than they need to be. A few people I have met won't even let their dogs run in the grass.
Turns out that I'm wrong. Poor chap. Hope he heals up fast.

Those grass seeds are a bugger - my boy needed two operations just to get rid of one. The other horrifying aspect is that if you don't find them, they can get into the bloodstream and cause heartattacks. Hope he's enjoying the drugs.
