First time standing on a board in 25 years and I've discovered I'm now a mongo pusher. Still regular with my left forward but it also feels much more natural to push with my left. It's on a carver surfer type board that I've never tried before so I'm not sure if that's throwing me off. If I want to keep riding should I go with what feels easiest or try and get my regular push foot back (street skated for a few years when I was around 12ish)?

I never got how mongo could ever be the natural choice (because push push push get aboard omg now I’m in foot adjustment hell...) but then I don’t know what this carver/surfer board is doing so differently and am intrigued.

Ha! didn't realise you'd seen this.
Unnatural, inefficient, looks dorky = my style.

Hey,
Does anyone want to buy this deck before I stick it on eBay?
It's a 5Boro VHS Pro Series Jimmy McDonald Deck. 8". Already got grip.
Never built up. But there's a tiny scuff in the grip and a couple of tiny marks, one on the nose one on the tail. They're so small I struggled to photograph them.**Sold ** as I'm not in London.

Ugh.
After 40 years of rumours that Rom skatepark was closing, Rom skatepark has closed.
(it closed in September, I just found out)

Kids born after I started skating ripping harder than I ever thought possible back then. All the toy machine parts I've seen recently have been amazing. Leo Romero's is so good.

I just came here to post this. Hands down the gnarliest part in the history of skateboarding. Everything is just at the very limit of what anyone has the balls or skill to do. It's insane, everyone should watch it now.
