Would explain why he was simply riding away from the entire peloton in pretty much every junior race he was in.
Doesn’t Richey Porte have a similar monster engine at similar weight and build? I remember a TT being 400w+ for 20m at 61kg.
Which is why he’s always been a ‘favourite’ for grand tours.
