I hadn't seen Andy in years having moved away from London, but had mostly kept up with his journey via social media. I'm sorry to say I wasn't one to engage with him about it, but I was always rooting for him and happy to see each bit of positive news. He was so strong and even when struggling seemed to be putting so much effort into helping others, too. Like many I always believed he would pull though despite what seemed at times to be awful luck.
