Terrible news. I thought he was clear. I lost my father two years ago in July due to cancer as well and I knew Andy from the forum rides / drinks. At least he is now in the better place. Fighting cancer is tough. Rest in peace brother.

Goodbye Andy. You were unbelievable how you gave cancer a couple of asskickings and returned to be so strong on the bike so quick.
Many fond memories from Wests, SEs, rides, his birthdays and one on one meet ups.
Big contribution to the forum/scene esp around cancer and mental health.

Really sad to see this, I've been following his progress on Instagram which has been silent for the last two weeks. He had so much determination to beat it even after everything he had been through.

Andrew and I discussed me helping him operate a fundraiser over his last few weeks and after his death in order to raise some money for a good cause. We never had a chance to discuss details like which causes he wanted to support but I think the forum should get together and do something in his name when the time is right. Subject to approval from his family of course.

As @TW said, meeting his problems head on. Whether it was cancer, roundabouts, parked cars... the daft bugger. Resurrect SEs for a send-off at some point soon?

This sounds like a brilliant idea (if the family agree).

Let's let the dust settle, give everybody time to breathe and I'll reach out to them in a few weeks.
