Wake board is shorter / wider and more stable. Main difference is side stance as opposed to conventional. U can pop mad tricks on it to.

No built in. I tried an I trip about 10 years ago. I hope they have improved.

last time i used an iTrip around London it did nothing but pick up pirate radio.

Has the stereo got an AUX in? If not on the headunit, they are sometimes elsewhere, like in the armrest.

I have got this one https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/32787177031.html and it runs really really well and it is dead cheap. I am in france though so not sure for UK stations to pick up best but I use the highest channel possible empty of any radio (108.00 in france) and it runs great.

^I've got a couple of that type of thing, seems to work well enough - only challenge is keeping it full of juice as it runs down quite fast.

Just be a little wary. Air traffic control frequencies start at 108. Incredibly unlikely to cause a problem but in the off chance the authorities did a local survey, you could find yourself with quite a fine.

On all countries? Did not know that! I am spot on at 108.00 which is reachable through standard radios of cars so I believe it is unlikely to be occupied by other things but who knows. Thanks for the tip - will have a look for another channel ; supposedly should be okay with the first channel available also at the other end (87.5 or something similar)

Totally agree that's it's almost zero risk but from indirect experience, I know that the authorities tend to take a zero tolerance approach i.e following the letter of the law rather than taking a practical view of the actual risk. 107.99 would be fine!

Recent foray back into the world of owning a car. FML...

now disappearing down the deep hole of engine management lights, fault codes, EGR, MAP, MAF, Turbo Boost sensors and DPF systems because bargainous car will run perfectly with warning light on but as soon as diagnostics resets the engine shits the bed. Mechanics seem equally disenchanted.
