I managed to fall on my arse and get a muddy stain on the arse of a pair of cream shorts. First washing suggests that this won't be coming off and it's an inconvenient place for a brown stain.
Thinking I may dye them navy or similar.
Any thoughts on:
Will the dye take over a muddy stain?
How permanent are dyes nowadays? I don't want blue legs when they get wet.
Which dye should I use for best results?
