Looks a good frame though, most Claud Butler Tandems I've seen on ebay etc have much plainer lugs than that, so it should be worth it. I look forward to seeing it if you post it on here

Nice 1954 claud tandem on ebay at the moment . There's a bit of background history to it over on retrobike too.

Yeah the lugs are lovely. Based on the serial number its either 1938 or 1948. I'll be creating a build thread once I have got it stripped down.

Hi @jeff80, I picked up the Claud Butler from Ed. It's very nice, but lots of work to do. I'm doing research on it now.
