  • Picked up a used Surly Bill trailer on Saturday, missing one of the two bolts that goes through the + shaped part of the hitch.

Can't find anywhere stocking them online (Triton claims they're discontinued), but also can't find a generic bolt that fits the spec:

M10 x 1.0mm shoulder bolt, 55mm shoulder length (12mm dia), 70mm overall length. I've found M10 "fine" shoulder bolts with a 1.25mm "fine" pitch or even unspecified pitch, but all I can find in M10 x 1.0mm are plain screws or bolts, or threaded rod.

Thought of just sleeving an M10x1 bolt, but all I've found so far are 12mm tubes with a 1.5mm wall or brass bushings that should fit but are only about 12mm long, so I'd need 4.5 of them.

Any cheaper options than taking an M14 or M12 fine screw to a machinist and asking them to make me an M10x1 shoulder bolt? (as far as I can tell, M12 coarse threads might be cut deeper than 10mm diameter, whereas M12 fine should leave a little margin.
