I am far from being an arbiter of tattoo taste, I have a chinese design taken from a box left to me by my aunt on my right shoulder , it is my only tattoo and 15 years on I still love it. My only advice would be to make sure it is 100% what you want adorning your skin for life. Many of the current styles will be like carbon dating yourself in the same way as the now unfashionable tribal style has become dated.
