Bought one of the ec90 copies of a Spesh Power saddle.
If you’ve been thinking of getting one, I wouldn’t bother.
Seemed alright on my first ride but now with less that 30 miles on it I’d say it’s looking a bit saggy and I can either get it comfy where my sit bones are but the nose jabs up into the base of my...erm...cock, or I can tilt it forward so I’m not getting jabbed but then it feels like I’m gonna roll off it.
Had a feel around underneath while I was sitting in the saddle and the base is pretty much resting on the top of the rail clamp.
Might try it on a different bike where I sit more upright but it’s pretty much useless for being in the drops.

I have a 26" toseek from ebay on my cross-check which hasn't exploded yet. They come in 3 a-c measurements for 26, 27.5 and 29

Kinda given up on getting a sus fork. But might still be interested in that one on your Marin if the steerer works for me. Let me know if you want to get rid of it.

Measure up what you need and I can check. I expect it'll be fine, was never cut

Are there any forum-approved women bib-shorts? Spexcel seem only to do male (or unisex, aka male) stuff...

Anyone got any experience with the 1" hylix road forks? Especially the new version as seen here:
They seem to provide the solution to all my problems but then also unsure as to whether I'll need dental insurance with them

I don’t know whether they’re the exact same ones but @Señor_Bear had some that have just cracked after not too much use.

No but after 3 months on mine they feel like new so expectations are high

Anyone had one of these? It would save 6-700g off my bike weigt. Tempting at under £300.

How’s the braking compared to the usual carbon affair?
-

Genuine improvement in dry, marginally better in the wet.

I got a pair of Dura-are c35 wheels and I was wondering if it would make Sense to switch the rims to chinese Carbon.

So far so good, it’s been fun stopping in the dry (haven’t tried them in the wet) but definitely improved a lot more than the old braking surface.

@onyerbike @HoKe cheers both. Done any proper "descents" on them?

Only the stuff around Kent lanes and Ditchling, still holding strong. I think with the groove being there once the carbon layup is gone that will be smooth again.

too good to be true at 279?
You certainly have to wonder which corners they are cutting to be half the price of LB wheels of similar spec.

• #7973
I would think so, but someone else more knowledgeable might know better

The hubs are decent, the spokes too. With LB wheels you'll get DT hubs with CX rays, lighter, better quality but a lot more expensive.
The rims are a gamble but I have a cheap Chinese set of wheels in my road bike and so far they've been problem free, light and fast
Shhh, don’t give the bloody game away!
Yeah so the rim has to be 30mm deep if I want to do that as the spokes are the constraint.
