Last winter I bought a poorly resprayed batavus professional slx. I bought it mostly for the super record parts on it and because it was cheap. I initially wanted to sell the frame but recently I realised that I was missing a simple and cheap lock-up pub bike for summer. So I built it up with some nice-ish unused parts from the parts bin - saddle with ti rails, magnesium flat pedals, mavic front hub, 3ttt downhill riser bars. It comes in at a reasonable 8.9kg, almost cost me nothing and is a lof of fun with the apinny 42/16 gearing.
