  • CAAD13 is hideous and crazy overpriced. Just a few hundred $ less than the same Supersix Evo, and in Australia the price is the same. Absolute madness.

  • £1599 for 105 caad13, £2000 for 105 super six.
Might be mixing up the disc and rim brake options?

    Disc caad13 105 is £1899 and £2300 for disc super six 105.

Basically identical price for the caad13 as the Allez Sprint, which I guess is it’s main competitor?

  • How much do you have to pay to get a nice colour scheme?

  • Yeah. So a few hundred less as I said? Out here in Aus the pricing is identical for CAAD and S6.

  • Caads have always been pretty close in price to non himod supersixes, but identical price in Aus is silly, though that looks like it’s only for the force Etap version?

    The SuperSix Disc 105 is US$2,750 / AU$3,900, compared to US$2,100 / AU$3,199 for the CAAD13.

  • Not that i’m in the market for one, for the reasons you said, as well as geo being too relaxed.

  • The new CAAD have the same stack than my cross/gravel bike and about 25mm than my road. Such dissapoint, pass

  • Think of da slamage

  • Slammed with a -17, horizontal top tube, now we're taking! They need to do on in the same fade as the EF kit, then I'd buy one.

  • What is going on with the slack head angle for 54 and smaller frames?
    RIP CAAD.

  • Bargain Stars Stripes Caad4 here..

  • Loving this at the moment. Asking myself whether it's monochrome enough to make coloured bar tape acceptable.

  • Which year was the CAAD X which had the issues with vibrations through the rear end?

I think it was something to do with how the calliper was mounted on the seat stay rather than the chainstay.

Have I imagined all of this?

  • 2015 ish, I think. Mine certainly had vibration under braking, until I swapped the shit Promax rotors out for SRAM ones

  • Anyone up to date with europe prices? hardly used caad 12 ultegra for 850 pounds, ok or not? Still have to go see it live but pictures are lovely

  • Thanks. I’m looking at a 2016 model. They still had the Caliper mounted on the seat stay then.

Seems to have moved for 2017 bikes onwards.

Think I’ll probably avoid, which is annoying because it ticks lots of boxes otherwise.

  • Mudguards caad 10.
    Crud 2 or Crud 3

    ?

I mean, I can dream about riding a bike in the winter right?

  • Disc or no disc?

I had mk3s on my caad12 disc, the Velcro system is shit unless you can get the entire patch to stick to a surface evenly. I ended up removing it and using cable ties

  • No disc.

  • I'd say that's a good price.

  • you can wet the sticky side of the velcro, should be easier to get a good contact patch, obviously let it dry before you use it.

  • thanks! going to go and have a look.

  • I bought one of these second-hand and sprayed it black, what are my chances of getting it replaced?

    (the fork I mean)

(fork in question + my crusty old bike for reference)
