Is this Boston? I believe that’s a friend of a friends bike.
-
• #429
Ha it is! Who’s is it? It’s outside a cafe where she often sees one of my old Hot Tubes.

I don’t know the dude personally, but I believe he’s a messenger.

• #431
Makes sense, it’s one of their hangouts. Is your friend a messenger in Boston?
-
• #432
Yep - rides a Colnago.

Current build on my Serotta Colorado. Mix of campagnolo with record, chorus and centaur components. In need of a clean, and ideally a carbon semi-compact ultra torque chainset. Ugly black electrical tape just a placeholder until I get some clear frame protection tape. Have some carbon bottle cages on the way as I fancy a change from the elites. I've had this bike for the last three or four years and it is an absolute joy to ride. Currently lusting for a titanium serotta 58c-c but in the meanwhile I'm very happy with this

Noice! Serottas are all class

Cheers! I also have some green and black splash tape which matches the green of the pave tyres but I'm sticking to the purp for now. After years and years of boring black/white cabling and tape I'm deciding to throw caution to the wind

Sorry for the crap phone picture. Finally managed to remove a stuck 3ttt stem and put a serotta one with a compact. Feels weird visually with the old Da brifters but it’s way better to handle.

Ah, I know. I'll refrain from posting it in the Serotta thread, but I have another very fancy track bike that I kinda like more, and I have like 9 bikes now. Which is not an astronomical number, but it's enough that only one of the fancy track bikes really winds up getting ridden, and I don't really love owning bikes that I don't ride.

Very fair, needs to be ridden for sure. One of my fave forum bikes that, too big for me otherwise I would have been begging you to post. Glws.

Seller would have taken £380 buy it now - sadly i'm unable to buy this due to a house move but it's just my size, local and lovely...!!!

A few changes to my Colorado. Still trying to get my head (not to mention my gooch) round riding an SMP saddle but so far so good. I've had the Neutrons forever and am thinking about swapping for some shallow carbon wheels but right now not a massive priority as the Neutrons are still so nice to ride on

Tilt the saddle down?
-

It is tilted down already, very slightly anyway, just doesn't necessarily look like it from the photo. It's pretty comfy as is and have an imminent bike fit coming up
