I chatted to a policeman at a bike training course a while back, and he claimed that the bulk of stolen bikes were stripped and sold as parts. I wondered if, like with a bicycle, the total value of a motorbike's parts are more than its value complete.
In which case that would be a double win.
That said bikes tend to suffer more damage than cars. But then again Defenders probably require a constant supply of parts to keep them running. So maybe it balances out.
yup. and a 3rd party service tracker somewhere in the bodywork.
they're the most nicked car in the country by all accounts, a lot of that is probably down to the rudimentary security they roll(ed) off the production line with. that and the fact they're fucking awesome and everyone should own one.
