By general speed I meant that by and large it seems quicker than the 520; more responsive to button presses and nippier showing maps etc. Re solidity the frame of the gadget seems solid enough, just the buttons feel a bit plasticky. Like a cheap digital watch, I suppose the plastic is just a pusher on top of the real button underneath which I hope is awesomely robust and durable.
The firmware still has annoying quirks; I can’t work out how to make it stop showing me (the same) tips about saving battery life etc.
