Do you have recommendations for the hub-sort-of-thing?

And in terms of an external hard drive does it have to a specific time or will any cheap £30 do the job?

I use a henge stone dock for my USB c MacBook but it’s a pricey fucker

Would something like this work? I.e. I have a charger plugged into the hub all the time I just connect the hub to the laptop with one cable?
