Anyone know what "off grid" means for CP4:
https://www.komoot.com/tour/59816888Is this going to be some kind of bullshit goat track that I'll be cursing for further ruining my shoes?

Think it refers to this part that came up when I clicked on details.
Seems like the software was confused which track to take?

Edited tour, deleted points 40 and 41 and moved be 40. Now it follows the road.
Question is if you're supposed to ride through the village.

If it is the bit you are referring to above, I think Anna or Rory posted on Facebook that there were some small errors in the Komoot parcours which have since been amended and that you did not have to exactly follow the parcours and to use common sense. Something like that anyway.

• #1532
But if they have been amended the error should not be in there anymore?
-
• #1533
I suspect Anna /Rory don't spend anything like as much time looking at the maps as we do

I would expect someone at komoot to check.
Racers complaining about falling on their arse while following the GPX from komoot is not really good advertising.I use it, and it's great. Just when osm thinks some overgrown whatever is a rideable path it can get annoying.
Or when you follow the rapha bohemian blah route you stole off Strava, uploaded to komoot and you're supposed to go up this:

I've been out that way, and I suspect the route will take you from Bourg D'Oisans via the road with several unlit tunnels to Villard Notre-Dame, then from there up a track (perfectly doable on a road bike), then on to Villard Reymond and back down to Bourg.

It is much nearer than that about 12km. Sunny beach is not in Burgas.
-

That's odd. I ripped mine straight from Komoot into RWGPS and my route goes through the town. I've not edited it so I will assume that's right.

Ah, dunno why the fuck it came up with that then. I assume that was in Burgas. Google >>>

So komoot software has a problem there and ridewithgps doesn't.
Glad I am not riding it, the parcours looks fun.

I think that error was a ski lift, or something. Anyway this was posted on the FB group.

Oh, wow - that was yesterday! I thought it was from last week.
WTF! I wonder where it is starting? Maybe it will be Geraardsbergen after all -
• #1546
Yeah bit late in the day.
-
• #1547
I presume it is going to be about the start parcour, they'll probably just want to give it a drive through to check for any mistakes.
-
• #1548
I presume the guy who lives on the parcour has been helping, he seems like a pretty experienced rider. So it’s all a bit odd.
Do you ever have to photograph or info check to prove you’ve been somewhere? The end of cp1 parcour goes up a dead end which seems pretty short... -

We had to take a pic at Puy de Dome I think. Certainly wouldn't hurt avoid any doubt about making the top of something. What's this noise about CP2 being updated? Komoot dates still show last modified in April https://www.komoot.com/tour/61898185

I'm riding the parcours I have when I arrive in Burgas. More recent updates >>>
Sure, when I said the whole time I obviously didn't mean the whole time.
There might have been naked women in some of my hotels but I wouldn't have noticed
